RUBY MOVIE SERIES: OCTOBER 15TH

The City of Morgantown Arts and Cultural Development Department is pleased to announce the Ruby Movie Series, featuring free movie screenings on Sunday nights at the Ruby Amphitheater in Hazel Ruby McQuain Park. Screenings will begin on September 10 and end on October 29. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks, drinks, and blankets.

(5 PM) Family Friendly Showing: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (PG)

After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove that he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of a mystical emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

(7 PM) Adult-Oriented Showing: The Flash (PG-13)

Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian — albeit not the one he’s looking for.
